Alan’s affiliate project is centered on Open Educational Resources (OER)! He is an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics, an OER adopter since 2017, a creator of modest amounts of OER, and a proud former member of the OER Task Force. His goal is to expand the reach and knowledge of OER on campus and beyond. He also enjoys Operator Algebras, Operator Theory, and writing in the third person.
